Bruised, split, and cold
This bunch of banana's I received was the worst. 2 were split at the lower end. Bruises showed up the next day as well as pressure points that were indented and black already. Not very appetizing. The ice packs were directly on the product and they were very cold. All other produce appears very good. From CCF: We are sorry you received bruised bananas that do not meet our high standards. We have brought your comments to the attention of our quality control team to make sure this does not happen again. We have refunded the bananas to your credit card and have placed a store credit onto your account to use on a future purchase where we hope to better meet your standards.

Never have received damaged produce thus shipment bananas mashed ( ready for( banana bread) lettuce package open. From Capital City Fruit: We are sorry you received damaged produce in your shipment. Unfortunately, once an order leaves our facility we have little control over how our third party carriers handle packages. Green and bruised From Capital City Fruit: We are sorry you received green and bruised bananas in your order. Our customer care representative will be in touch with you to take care of this issue, as we never intend to send bruised product. Unfortunately, once an order leaves our facility we have little control over our third party carriers. To allow our customers the longest banana shelf life, we typically send our bananas just as they're beginning to ripen (on the greener side.) To ripen your bananas quickly, we recommend placing your bananas in a paper bag to allow the ethylene gas to naturally ripen them.

Surprising
Ours come mostly green, which is our favorite! These are very surprising when they turn. They seem for us to be over ripe by the color, but are still firm and tastey! The skins are thick in these also. So good.
